About

Erica Chisolm is the Founder and Principal Employee Relations Consultant of Essential Business Connections. She is a Workplace Engagement Expert with over 20 years of human resources, employee relations, and labor relations experience. Her background is in the healthcare, transportation, global freight, warehousing and distribution, and supply chain logistics industries. She has worked in both union and non-union environments.

Erica understands that positive employee relations are essential to a strong and productive workforce. It is the connection that touches all aspects of the organization. Ultimately, it is the key to success within an organization.

Workplace Engagement

Through her experiences, Erica has seen union organizing campaigns, lawsuits, employee concerns, increased employee turnover, and lack of productivity and disengagement as a result of damaged employee relations.

Essential Business Connections was founded to help organizations create better workforces, minimize risk, and improve performance and profitability through positive employee relations.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and a Master of Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Business.
